Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our Commitment

The Hind Associates is committed to providing high-quality professional services with transparency and integrity. This policy outlines the terms related to the cancellation of services and any applicable refunds. Our goal is to be fair to our clients while also accounting for the professional time and resources allocated to an engagement.

Please note that the specific terms outlined in a formal signed Engagement Letter for any particular service will supersede the general terms of this policy.

Cancellation Policy

A client may request to cancel an engagement at any stage of the process. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to our official contact address.

Upon receiving a cancellation request, we will immediately cease all work on the engagement.

Refund Policy

Our refund policy is based on the stage at which the service engagement is cancelled.

  1. Cancellation Before Commencement of Work:

    If a cancellation request is received after payment but before our team has commenced any work on the engagement, we will issue a full refund of the professional fees paid, minus any non-refundable government fees already paid on the client's behalf and a nominal processing fee (e.g., payment gateway charges).

  2. Cancellation After Commencement of Work:

    If a cancellation request is received after our team has commenced work, the refund amount will be calculated as follows:

    • Any fees or duties already paid to government agencies or third parties (e.g., ROC filing fees, stamp duty, application fees) are strictly non-refundable.
    • A deduction will be made for the professional time spent on the engagement up to the point of cancellation. This will be calculated on a pro-rata basis based on the progress of the work.
    • The remaining amount will be refunded to the client.
  3. Cancellation After Completion or Filing:

    No refund will be issued if the service has been fully rendered, the task is completed, or the relevant forms/documents have been filed with the authorities.

Non-Refundable Fees

Please be aware that payments made to government bodies (such as the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, GST department, Income Tax department, etc.) are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Processing of Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days from the date of the cancellation confirmation. The refund will be credited to the original mode of payment used by the client.
